Six Schuylkill County businesses have been cited by the Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Cited were the following:Country Squire Restaurant and Motel Inc., 300 SR61 South, North Manheim Township.The Downtowne Tavern, 24 W. Main St., Schuylkill Haven.Country Beverage Inc., 107 SR183, North Wayne Township.Manheim Diner Inc., 1614 SR61 South, North Manheim Township.The Inn of Orwigsburg, 200 W. Market St., Orwigsburg.Brickhouse Grill, Federal Square, 705 W. Market St., Orwigsburg.All were cited for selling, furnishing, and or giving or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving alcoholic beverages to a 20-year-old minor on Dec. 20, 2012.The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose fines ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. The judge also had the authority to issue a license suspension or revocation depending on the severity of the charge.
