Dear Editor:

This is to Packerton Yards appeal.I understand that the Mahoning Township supervisors voted down granting the Carbon County Commissioners on the opening of a county road to the site. This area needs good paying jobs, not jobs like Walmart or Lowe's, even if it is a KOZ Zone for 10 years. How many jobs would they have created in 10 years they are there, and if the company's that are there after 10 years, decide to stay there and generate taxes.
