Several persons were injured Monday afternoon after their cars collided in the intersection of Forest Inn and Stage Coach roads in Towamensing Township. The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. Initial reports confirmed at least two of the victims being entrapped in the wreckage. All of the victims were treated at the scene and transported by members of the Palmerton Ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. Both vehicles came to rest atop an embankment at the northeast corner of the intersection. Firefighters of the Trachsville Fire Company extricated the victims. Fire police maintained traffic control at the scene. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
