Leave me alone

There has been an increase in both deer and bear activity over the past few weeks throughout our area. Pictured is a bear lying next to a tree below the Trinity United Church of Christ near downtown Tamaqua. Responding police and firefighters said that if people leave the bears alone, they normally will wander off on their own.
