The Panther Valley Elementary School Title I Program recently held a Luau Literacy Family Night in conjunction with the annual Spring Book Fair. The Title I teachers provided several activites for the students to participate in as a way to promote family involvement in literacy. Activities included Comprehension Beachball Toss, Make-a-Word, Hawaiian Wordless, Create-a-Bookmark, Beachball Bingo and Sight Word Charts. Gift certtificates to the book fair were awarded to the 30 lucky students who attended.
