Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansford, recently held a new member brunch to officially welcome two new members into the church. They are Claudia Sokol, left, and Miriam "Mimi" Marrin, right. With them is Dr. Susan Featro, center, church organist, who was also recognized for recently graduating from Wilkes University with a PhD in Educational Leadership. Susan is a teacher in the Tamaqua Area School District. In the back row are Martha Tirpak, church council president, and the Rev. Roy Koehler, designated pastor.
