A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday evening when involved in a crash along East Dock Street in Lansford. The crash occurred just after 6 p.m. when the biker lost control of the bike and climbed an embankment. He was ejected from the bike with it rolling back down over the victim. The driver was treated at the scene by members of the Lansford ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. A medical transport helicopter was requested to the scene but due to the ominous clouds and bad weather in the area that request was denied. The victim was transported by ground to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Lansford police are investigating the incident.
