Franklin Township Lions Club recently held a "Spring Fling" to raise funds for the new pumper that will soon be delivered to the Franklin Township Fire Company. Proceeds from the event were $2,000. Dave Hawk, Franklin Lions Club, president at the time of the event, right, presented the funds to Phil Nuccio, left, president of the fire company. The club also donated $250 to free lunch program held daily at Zion United Church of Christ, Lehighton.
