Tamaqua's Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) is still looking to fill two vacancies. The council-appointed volunteer positions provide an advisory representative regarding community projects and development activities. Advisory members participate in reviewing and planning of all activities related to the Community Development Program within the borough and periodically review the implementation, monitoring and evaluating of plans, such as housing assistance.
