A Coaldale man was cited by Tamaqua police on Sunday, Aug. 5.

Officer Matt Houser was on patrol when he observed a male walking in the area of Clark Street at 1:30 a.m. The male seemed to be having some difficulty so Houser investigated. The officer noted a strong odor of alcohol coming from the man, who was identified as James Nahf, 46, of 123 First St.Nahf was cited for public drunkenness.
