A man was seriously injured Thursday afternoon when involved in a single vehicle crash along SR895 in East Penn Township. The crash occurred at 12:28 p.m. as he was operating a van east. The victim apparently lost control of the unit swerving to the right berm impacting with a utility pole. The vehicle bounced back onto a lawn where the driver was found lying on the ground next to the van . He was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to an area hospital.
