State Rep. Doyle Heffley's Lansford office opened at 10 a.m. today.

The office, at the American Legion at 3 W. Ridge St., will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Wednesday. The satellite office hours are being held so that "residents will have a local place to go to ask legislative questions and learn about services and programs offered by state government," a press release distributed Tuesday afternoon said.In addition to his Harrisburg office, Heffley has offices in Lehighton, at 110 N. Third St., and in Albrightsville, at 2681 Route 903, Unit 3.
