A Tamaqua woman involved in a Thursday afternoon accident called police later in the day to report her medication had been stolen.

Kimberly Keach, 34, of 256 Brown St., Tamaqua, was driving east on Penn Street, at 2:25 p.m., in front of the Tamaqua Area Senior High School, when she failed to negotiate a curve. Keach's Chevrolet Suburban struck a parked 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora, owned by Angela Clark of 24 N. She was transported, by ambulance, to St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. At 6:10 p.m., Keach called police to report medication missing from her purse. The drugs were apparently stolen sometime between the time of her accident and her return home from the hospital.
