Salvation Army Home League/ Men's Fellowship recognized

Members of the Tamaqua Salvation Army Corps held their annual dinner Tuesday night at the Corps.

Enrolling officers and guest speakers were Majors Ronald and Pamela Santmyer, Divisional Headquarters (DHQ), Philadelphia.The Tamaqua Salvation Army's Home League is a fellowship group designed to influence women in the creation and development of Christian standards in personal home life involving fourfold aims of worship, fellowship, education and service.The Men's Fellowship provides an opportunity for Christian men to gather and support each other as they live a Christian life inspired by the teachings of the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ. Both groups meet every Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. at the Tamaqua Salvation Army. For more information, call the Corps at (570) 668-0410.
