Members of Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club recently supported the community organization with donations to help their cause.
Selected to receive funds were the Lehighton Police Department, Lehighton Fire Department, Lehighton Area Memorial Library and Lehighton Pool Pals.Making the presentations were club members. Steven Anthony presented to Joey Zellner; a firefighter. Susan Anthony presented to Cpl. Neal Ebbert; Kim Babcock presented to Jim Blakeslee, library board president; and Barbara Christopher presented to Linda Schoenberger and Martha Balogach, members of Lehighton Pool Pals.Club members hold various fundraisers throughout the year so they can provide funding to these organizations and to support other community organizations and needy individuals.
