Tamaqua's homecoming parade celebration

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Nippy weather didn't stop spectators from lining the main streets of Tamaqua yesterday evening during Tamaqua's Homecoming parade. After the parade, everyone was encouraged to stop by the talegating party at the stadium to enjoy DJ music and free hotdogs, drinks and chips, courtesy of the Tamaqua Area Student Government Association and Tamaqua Leadership Council. Tamaqua alumnus Karen Rottet acted as Grand Marshal of the parade. Krystal Schmauch, Leadership Council Advisor, and Tamaqua Special Education teacher, pointed out her appreciation to all the volunteers, Tamaqua Police, Fire Police, Rescue Squad, Ambulance, Raider Band, cheerleaders and others.
