The Eldred Beagle Club in Kunkletown held its annual Fun Trial Run-Off on September 11.

Beagles were divided into two classes, the 13-inch and the 15-inch.

The 15-inch class had two qualifiers and the 13-inch class had one qualifier.

Brad Haydt was the field trial judge for both classes and for the Absolute Run.

The 2011 Eldred Beagle Club 13-inch Class Fun Trail Run-Off Winner was, Walters' Little Online Lucy handled by Tom Walters

The 2011 Eldred Beagle Club 15-inch Class Fun Trail Run-Off Winners were, First Place, Thibodeaux (Tibby) handled by Tina Drake and Second Place, Miklivy Remington handled by Mike Nelson.

Both first place winners were awarded $100 gift certificates and second place received a $75 gift certificate.

Trophies were awarded to the dog in each class who scored the most points throughout the year, also known as the Consistency Winner.

The 13-inch class winner in that category was Walters' Little Online Lucy handled by Tom Walters and for the 15-inch class it was Thibodeaux handled by Tina Drake.

A plaque and a bag of dog food was awarded to the winner of the Absolute Run, Walters' Little Online Lucy handled by Tom Walters.

The winners received their prizes at the Eldred Beagle Club's annual picnic held at DonLaine Campgrounds.

The Eldred Beagle Club holds fun trials at the club grounds and it is open to anyone with an AKC registered beagle.

There is a minimal cost to register a dog and a breakfast is served at 7 a.m. for a small fee.

The Eldred Beagle Club also has a few openings for membership.

If interested in membership or the fun trials, the Club holds monthly meetings the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the club grounds located off Beagle Run Road in Kunkletown.
