Owl Creek Reservoir not going down

Daily precipitation is slowing the drainage of the Owl Creek Reservoir which was started on May 12th. The reservoir is being drained to allow contractors to perform maintenance, replacement and repairs on both the upper and lower dams. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has lifted all seasons, sizes and creel limits on the upper Owl Creek reservoir in anticipation of the reservoirs complete drawdown. The temporary modification will remain in effect until further notice; but in no event will it remain in place after Jan. 1, 2012.
