Future physicians dinner

St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital recently sponsored its 3rd annual future physicians dinner at the Restaurant at the Station in Tamaqua. The event allowed local high school students interested in pursuing careers in the medical field to speak with local health care providers. Attending the event were (front, left to right) Micahel Warkala and Graham Strauss, both juniors at Lehighton Area High School, Philip Christman, a senior at Tamaqua Area High School, Dr. Smita Mody, anesthesiologist, and Carina Brown, a student at the Penn State College of Medicine, (back row, left to right) Matt Zuber, a member of the inaugural class of the St. Luke's Temple Medical School, Dr. Camille Eyvazzadeh, colorectal surgeon, Dr. Satish Mody, anesthesiologist, and Bill Moyer, the president of St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital.
