An incumbent and a newcomer won nomination to five 4-year terms and an incumbent took the nomination to one 2-year term on the Jim Thorpe School board.

Total Democratic votes for the 4-year terms were: incumbent Clement C. McGinley, 672; Pearl Downs-Sheckler, 629; Jeremy Melber, 573; Dirk J. Pompa, 418; Debra A. Pope, 411; incumbent Michael J. Huber, 383; Glenn F. Confer Sr., 373; Patricia Zovak, 371; Bill Allison, 366; incumbent Ellen M. Kattner, 351; incumbent Richard D. Karper, 297; John Partenio, 285; Danielle R. Condly, 255; and John F. Marchione, 115, according to unofficial results. There were also 20 write-in votes.Total Republican votes for the 4-year terms were: Downs-Sheckler, 348; Partenio, 336; Allison, 326; McGinley, 306; Kattner, 273; Melber, 284; Huber, 261; Pope, 244; Pompa, 229; Confer Sr., 224; Zovak, 207; Condly, 205; and Karper, 162. There were also 18 Republican write-in votes.Total Democratic votes for the 2-year term were: Incumbent Gerald F. Strubinger, 333; Confer Sr., 273; Zovak, 241; Condly, 226, and Walter Schulz, 94. There were also nine write-in votes.Total Republican votes for the 2-year term were: Strubinger, 227; Confer Sr., 186; Condly, 150; Zovak, 147 and Walter Schulz, 74. There were also four write-in votes for the 2-year term.The names of the write-in candidates have yet to be announced.
