A little thing like a tornado is not enough to keep the West Penn Lions from having a good time while helping others. Last week, a tornado caused significant damage to the West Penn Community Park. This week, the Lions Club will hold its annual Chicken BBQ dinner as planned.

A little thing like a damaged pavilion is not enough to deter the Lions from their plans. The dinner will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Ham platters will also be available.The park is located one quarter mile north of the Snyders SR309/443 intersection, on Zion Church Road.Tickets will be available at the park.
