The Palmerton Area Historical Society will meet for its annual picnic at member Bert Holczman's farm, 540 Sand Quarry Road, Ashfield August 8.

The society will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, rolls, condiments and beverages. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish and/or a dessert.Please make a reservation by calling Jane at (610) 767-5638 before July 29.Come any time after 4 p.m.Rain date is August 9.
