The Carbon County Environmental Education Center will be teaching children about carpenter bees and toads at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9.

Participants will make toad and carpenter bee homes to take home.The program is open to children ages 8-15.The center is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, just outside of Jim Thorpe, along Lentz Trail.Please call (570) 645-8597 to register. There is a fee.
