A Northampton County dwelling was extensively damaged in an early morning fire Sunday along SR248. The fire was reported at 4555 Lehigh Drive at 6:30 a.m. with heavy fire and smoke shooting from the two story single family wood dwelling. Fire companies from Northampton, Lehigh and Carbon counties responded to the scene. It was not known who if anyone occupied the residence.
