A Massachusetts driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers conducted a traffic stop about 2:46 a.m. on Aug. 20 along SR940 in Pocono Summit, Coolbaugh Township, for an equipment and safety violation.The driver was identified as William Sullivan, 28, of Rockland, Mass.Sullivan was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.He was placed under arrest and refused to submit to a blood test, police said.He was processed at police headquarters and later released. He will be charged, police added.
