A Carbon County 4-H Shooting Sports club is forming this summer. They will be following the 4-H workbook for rifle education and shooting, which will cover ammunition, parts of the rifle and shooting safety.

The club will meet on Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 10 a.m., at a place to be announced later. Those interested from ages 8 to 18 are welcome to join. Members from the age of 8 to 10 are required to have a parent or guardian attend the meetings.

Contact Joan or John Kennedy at (570) 645-5709 to register for the program. Please respond by Tuesday, April 26.

4-H is the youth component of Penn State University. Penn State is committed to affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity of its workforce.
