The Carbon County Veterans Day Parade will be held at 2 p.m., Nov. 7, in Palmerton. The rain date is Nov. 14.

Registration forms have been sent out to various organizations who may be interested in participating in this year's parade. The deadline for these forms to be submitted is Oct. 24, but the sooner they are sent in, the more helpful it will be to the parade organizers.If an organization did not receive a registration form and it wishes to participate in the parade, contact Ed Moyer at (570) 325-9657 or Henry Desrosiers at the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office at (570) 325-3986 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
