A motorcycle and a deer collided during the early hours of Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Neal Dacquisto, 45, of Ringtown, was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson FDX1 northbound on SR4033 in Union Township about 2:10 a.m. when a deer entered the road in front of him. Dacquisto laid the bike down on its left side and struck the deer. After impact the bike skidded off the road to the right.Dacquisto was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-E. Jackson St., Pottsville, for treatment of a minor ankle injury, troopers said. Damages were minor the bike.
