Anna T. Trudich is celebrating her 98th birthday on Nov. 27.

She was born in Lansford in 1912, lived in Summit Hill, West Virginia and White Bear, but most of her life she lived in the Tamaqua area.Anna was married to John Trudich Sr. until his passing. She is a member of St. Peter and Paul's Church in Tamaqua.Mrs. Trudich has six children: John Trudich Jr., Eleanor Hodge, Betty Peper, Peter Trudich Sr., Rose Beiswenger and Mike Trudich. She also has four grandchildren: Mike Hodge, Shirley Ann French, Peter Trudich Jr. and Desiree Trudich Deetz; and four great-grandchildren, Shawn Hodge, Shaina Hodge, Cody Trudich and Tyler Trudich.Anna has enjoyed many hobbies over the years, which include sewing, embroidering, cooking, baking and gardening.Anna will be celebrating her birthday with her children.
