Two persons were cited following an incident in Schuylkill County. State police at Frackville said the incident occurred about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, in the area of 235 Main Blvd., in East Union Township.

Troopers said Courtney Beth Klingaman, 19, of Weston, was giving Anthony J. Conti, 21, of Ringtown, a ride. Troopers identified Conti as the father of Klingaman's child.Troopers said Conti was highly intoxicated and became involved in a verbal argument with Klingaman over the location of is lighter. During the argument Conti damaged the dashboard of the vehicle. Upon reaching the destination point, Conti, after exiting the vehicle, head-butted the windshield causing it to crack. Conti then proceeded to punch the drivers' side window shattering it in the process. This cause glass to hit Klingaman in the face resulting in lacerations to her face.Troopers said Conti was cited for criminal mischief and harassment while Klingman was cited for driving while under suspension.
