Rush Twp. police make drug arrest

On March 11 at 5:26 p.m. Rush Township police responded to the Walmart store for a male attempting to gain entry into vehicles in the parking lot. Police later spotted the male exiting Walmart.

When stopped the man was found to have 27 bags of crack cocaine. All the bags were individually wrapped and inside an orange presciption bottle, police said.The perpetrator, Brian K. Startzel, is facing numerous felony charges, said police.In another incident, Roger A. Betz, 53, of Shenandoah, is facing charges after he hit a vehicle in the Hometown Farmers Market parking lot and left the scene on March 10 at 1:45 p.m.
