Participants of the Tamaqua Area Adult Daycare Center got to enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides Wednesday as part of their picnic at West Penn Park. With temperatures into the 80s under sunny skies, conditions were perfect for a ride in the country. The rides were provided by Crystal View Carriage Services, New Ringgold. Here, the carriage turns into the park with riders John McDonald, Anna Ritsick, Dorothy Smulligan and adult day care staff member Betsy Matalavage.
