The Palmerton Area Heritage Center, located at 410 Delaware Ave., will hold a birthday party for itself and the Palmerton Area Historical Society on Friday, June 11, from noon to 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

This year marks the fifth birthday of the heritage center and the 20th birthday of the Palmerton Area Historical Society.During the event, visitors can enjoy refreshments and giveaways; as well as see what the center has to offer.Included on the coverlet are depictions from Palmerton, Bowmanstown, Towamensing Township, and Lower Towamensing Township.
