East Penn Township holds nine minute supervisors' meeting

The Dec. 6 meeting of the East Penn Township supervisors, which lasted only nine minutes, began with public comment.

He thought it would be easier to patch now rather than waiting for spring. He hoped supervisors would move the time for meetings to at least 6 p.m. during the reorganization meeting so more people could attend. Until last year it was 7 p.m. when it became 5 p.m.Lastly, he wanted supervisors to tell how much taxes were being raised and what the extra money would be used for. There was no reply to any of these comments.Loretta Smith thanked roadmaster Cory Smith for fixing the end of her driveway. He said he hadn't fixed it. She said then someone else did. She also wanted the yellow lines near Troxells renewed in the spring.Supervisors' chair Herb Truhe announced new hours for the municipal office. It will be closed Dec. 23, 24 and 31.
