The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Allyson Kusko from Nesquehoning has been named an All-American Scholar.

The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. Only scholars selected by a school instructor, counselor, or other qualified sponsor are accepted.Allyson, who attends the Panther Valley Middle School is in the seventh grade, was nominated for this honor by Charles DePuy.Allyson is the daughter of Stephen andLinda Kusko of Nesquehoning and the grand-daughter of Nancy Ondo also of Nesquehoning.
