Vandals struck multiple downtown mailboxes located at 12 & 14 West Broad St. in Tamaqua Friday night or Saturday morning. The vandals smashed doors and destroyed mailboxes located in the breezeways to the entrances of the apartments. A hard-boiled egg was left in one of the mailboxes.
