A motor vehicle accident occured in the 200 block of East Broad Street on Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m., right in front of the Tamaqua ABC Hi-Rise. Two vehicles that received damages were a Ford Ranger and a red station wagon. No injuries were reported. Tamaqua Fire and Police departments, ambulance and fire police responded to the scene, and the block was shut down to traffic while the vehicles were cleared.
