Tamaqua Salvation Army volunteers provided their time to help provide its guests with free meals on Thanksgiving Day.

The volunteers also made free take-out orders and delivered free meals to anyone who was homebound or unable to come to the Salvation Army for the free meal.Tamaqua Salvation Army Captains Joyce and Gary Thornton stressed their high appreciation for the amount of caring volunteers who helped serve the food, greet guests, make take-outs, delivery the meals, and clean up.
