The newly formed Carbon County Navy Club was awarded its charter on Dec. 21.

The club, which meets at Lansford AMVETS Post 83, is called USS Carbon County Ship 260.Meetings are held the last Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Post home at 201-203 W. Ridge St., Lansford.New members are always welcome.
