Coaldale police nabbed a Richmond, Va., man for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI), resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license and failing to lower his high beams.
Bradley Deanell Boswell Jr., 23, was stopped at 9:51 p.m. Dec. 5 by Officer Charles Blesse on SR209 at the Coaldale EMS building for failing to lower his high-beam headlights within 500 feet of approaching the police cruiser.
Blesse smelled burned marijuana as he approached the vehicle. Boswell produced his driver's license upon request, but Blesse found the license had been suspended. Boswell also failed field sobriety tests.
He was arrested and taken to the police station where he refused a blood test warnings. Boswell responded with profanities when asked to remove his belt and shoes as he was placed into a holding cell. He refused to comply and fought with officers until he was Tasered by officer Talanca.

Now, if you forget to lower you high beams, you get pulled over. What if you have those fancy new blue lights that are really bright? Do we get pulled over for them? What about foglights? Every idiot drives around with those on whether it's foggy or not. Do you get pulled over for having those on? Local cops are losers that couldn't get into the PSP, so now they're security guards with weapons.
