Virginia man facing DUI count

Coaldale police nabbed a Richmond, Va., man for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI), resisting arrest, driving with a suspended license and failing to lower his high beams.

Bradley Deanell Boswell Jr., 23, was stopped at 9:51 p.m. Dec. 5 by Officer Charles Blesse on SR209 at the Coaldale EMS building for failing to lower his high-beam headlights within 500 feet of approaching the police cruiser.Blesse smelled burned marijuana as he approached the vehicle. Boswell produced his driver's license upon request, but Blesse found the license had been suspended. Boswell also failed field sobriety tests.He was arrested and taken to the police station where he refused a blood test warnings. Boswell responded with profanities when asked to remove his belt and shoes as he was placed into a holding cell. He refused to comply and fought with officers until he was Tasered by officer Talanca.
