The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation and Carbon County Women in Business will celebrate health and wellness and Administrative Professional Day with a “Wellness in the Workplace Expo” from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the new St. Luke’s building at 575 S. Ninth Street in Lehighton.

For just a $5 admission, receive a goodie bag, healthy refreshments and health and financial wellness tips from a diverse mix of local exhibitors, including: St. Luke’s University Health Network, Blue Mountain Resort, Mauch Chunk Trust Co., Mary Kay-Pam Reilly, Seventh Moon Wellness Spa, Utopia, Jim Thorpe Massage & Wellness Studio, and Conjured.

Marlyn Kissner, executive director of the CCEDC, said the CCEDC has acknowledged Administrative Professional’s Day with a lunch and fashion show.

“This year, we decided to do something different with an event that would not only honor our valuable administrative professionals but also encourage healthy living and wellness of mind, body and spirit. We all lead overly busy lives, so I think that it is absolutely crucial to make time for self-care.”
