Woman drives through fence, lands in parking lot

    Crews are on the scene of a crash in Nesquehoning. At 3 p.m., police and EMS were called to the area of Almond and Mill Street in Nesquehoning for a crash behind the Nesquehoning elderly apartments. A blue Neon, occupied by two elderly women, accelerated through a fence and went approximately 7 feet in the air into a parking lot below. The driver did not recall the cause of the incident but said the car took off on her. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital. ALLYSON KUSKO/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS

You have no idea how many children (adults themselves) of older adults (who should NOT be driving ) will not stand up to their parents and get the Family MD in support of removing their driver's license.....
Grow up children and take on an Adult Role now.
Remember the little girl that got killed on Delaware Avenue in Palmerton a few years back.
