Weatherly Area High School has announced the speaker for its graduation ceremony.

Kyle McGee, a graduate of the class of 2001, is a senior attorney at the national boutique law firm Grant & Eisenhofer P.A. in Wilmington, Delaware.

McGee practices includes complex commercial litigation, securities litigation, whistleblower litigation, and environmental litigation.

He has successfully litigated complex class action lawsuits in courts across the country on behalf of shareholders, consumers, and others injured by corporate wrongdoing, securing hundreds of millions of dollars from defendants.

McGee has also published numerous academic studies in the areas of law, philosophy, and the social sciences, and regularly delivers lectures at universities in the U.S., U.K., Europe, and elsewhere. Kyle currently resides in West Chester.

He is married to fellow Weatherly graduate Courtney (Furmanchin) McGee, and they have two children, Derek, 11, and Lincoln Rose, 2.

The graduation ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Friday.
