Waterfalls and Boulders

Saturday, July 14, 2018, 10am to 12 noon. Glen Onoko Falls is a very tough climb along a rushing stream. It is strenuous, slippery and narrow. but the multiple waterfalls and overhanging rocks are beautiful! At the beginning of the climb is the former site of a 19th century hotel. We'll climb up 600 feet in 3/4 of a mile--steep?? First, we'll see Chameleon Falls, then Glen Onoko Falls, and lastly the Cave Falls.

Sturdy footwear is required (NO sneakers or flip flops), and hiking poles are strongly recommended. Dogs on leash are allowed. Definitely bring binoculars/camera for the views from near the top. We will have two groups on this hike: those who want to go the first waterfall and turn around (1 mile total) and another for those who want to walk the 4 mile loop.
