Two men were injured early Friday morning in a crash along Route 443 in West Penn Township.

The crash occurred at 4 a.m. as the two were traveling east descending the Clamtown Hill. For some unknown reason they crossed the roadway striking a westbound Jeep. The car then climbed an embankment and reentered the roadway, rolling several times coming to rest on its roof. The two were treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby trauma center. West Penn Township police Sgt. Jason Lorah and Cpl. Hohn Kaczmarczyk are investigating the incident. COPYRIGHT LARRY NEFF/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS
