Notes ... Ferguson bumped up to 113 pounds for both of Lehighton’s matches at district duals this past Saturday. The freshman was pinned by Northwestern’s Jake Dellicker in the first-period in his second match of the day … Bauer went 5-0 at the Berwick Duals over the weekend, recording three pins in the first-period … Newton enters the rankings as an honorable mention selection at 126 pounds after earning a 16-11 decision over Schuylkill Haven’s Colby Schaner … Coccio’s last two matches have come at 138 with mixed results. He dropped a 10-0 major decision to Northwestern’s Bernhard, the Lehigh Valley Health Network Athlete of the Week, last Thursday at district duals, but rebounded with a major over Jim Thorpe’s Eisenhardt in his most recent bout … Northwestern’s White jumps from honorable mention to the No. 2 spot at 132 pounds after picking up a major decision over Sangiuliano Saturday at district duals … Amorim went 5-0 at the Berwick Duals … Christman has rebounded nicely since his loss in the final at the Coal Cracker Tournament, posting a major decision and first-period pin in his last two matches … Haas stays in front of Holland and moves into the No. 1 spot at 160 pounds after posting a 6-4 decision in sudden victory overtime against his counterpart last Thursday at district duals … Wickersham pinned Northwestern’s Will Dellicker last Thursday, and finished Jim Thorpe’s Newhall in 2:24 in his most recent match. Wickersham’s last three wins have all come by way of pin fall … The 182-pound group stays the same, but there isn’t much to separate the top-three. Krell picked up an 11-7 decision over Watson last Thursday at district duals. A potential showdown between Krell and Williams didn’t materialize on Wednesday. Williams got a forfeit at 182, and Krell bumped up to 195, where he pinned Kendall Herron. Watson got a forfeit against Lehighton last Saturday. Zeigenfuss lost a tough 9-8 decision to Haverkamp Saturday, but rebounded with a 7-6 decision over Blue Mountain’s Tyler Noecker… Herron had a huge win in Jim Thorpe’s match against Mahanoy on Saturday, coming through with a third-period pin to secure the victory for the Olmypians … Mordaunt picked up a 3-1 decision in overtime against Wilson’s Kolby Flank, a district champion last year, on Saturday. Flank placed third at regionals and qualified for states. Williams pinned Alec Snyder in 2:48. Snyder was third at districts last season and made it to regionals … Rodriguez is ahead of Bandle at 220 pounds with two wins in their head-to-head matchups this season: A 1-0 decision and a third-period pin. Both victories came in December … A big showdown between Strouse and Hunter came to fruition Wednesday. Strouse picked up a 2-1 decision in a bout that certainly lived up to its billing as the marquee matchup of the night. Here’s hoping we get a rematch in a few weeks at districts … EIDEM WATCH: The Panthers’ senior is now 5-2 since returning from a broken hand. Eidem

pinned Schuylkill Haven’s Jared Spalti in 49 seconds in his most recent match. It was his fourth pin in under a minute … Pleasant Valley’s records remain unchanged with the Bears not competing last week.
