Northwestern, Palmerton and Lehighton all picked up wrestling victories on Wednesday.

WRESTLING

Salisbury-Northwestern

Northwestern took advantage of eight Falcon forfeits to roll to a 57-12 Colonial League win over Salisbury.

The Tigers’ Harrison Bernhard (145) and Ryan Haas (160) both earned pins in the win as Northwestern improved to 5-4 overall and 4-1 in Colonial League matches.

The Blue Bombers’ Dennis Lombardi (132), Shawn Gardner (145), Lucas Christman (152), Matt Lalik (160) and Dylan Gonyo (170) all posted pins in that stretch. Chris Lucykanish (195) also added a pin for the hosts. Palmerton improved to 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the Colonial League.
