A theft by unlawful taking matter has been reported to state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said the victim is George F. Cirabisi, 61, of 7 N. Lake Dr., Jim Thorpe (Penn Forest Township).Police said Cirabisi told them he hired a New York-based moving company to move his belongings between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. June 4, after which time the man learned $6,500 worth of men's jewelry was missing. The investigation is continuing.
