$625 million Powerball jackpot set for tonight’s drawing

The Powerball® jackpot is now offering an estimated annuity value of $625 million, or $299.8 million cash, for the next drawing tonight.

“This $625 million jackpot prize is now the 8th largest jackpot in Powerball’s 30-year history,” said Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko. “Whether you purchase your Powerball® ticket in-store or on our website, please remember to play responsibly.”

This is the second time this year, the Powerball® jackpot has been above $600 million. The last time the Powerball® jackpot was above $600 million was in the Jan.5 drawing, when tickets in California and Wisconsin split a $632.6 million jackpot.

The last time a Powerball® jackpot was won in Pennsylvania was on Aug. 3, 2022. In Pennsylvania, this recent jackpot run has generated more than $49.7 million in sales, creating a profit of more than $19.9 million to benefit older Pennsylvanians.

If there is no Powerball® winner in tonight’s drawing, the jackpot for the Wednesday, Oct. 26 drawing will be an estimated $680 million, or $326.1 million cash.

Pennsylvania Lottery players have options to purchase their Powerball® tickets online or by visiting a retailer. Players can find lottery-selling locations closest to them by visiting the Find a Retailer section of the Lottery’s website.
