Hundreds turned out on East Broad Street in biting 20-degree air just before midnight Tuesday for the Tamaqua New Year's Eve Eagle Rise Celebration. A jumbotronfeatured a live feed fromactivities at Times Square. In Tamaqua, blue and white eagles flew upwardsynchronized with New York City's event.
